When Does n Business Need An Overhaul?

BY: Kristiane Pritzel

You may need to change your strategy or your business entirely and begin offering new goods and services when you notice that your sales have been slipping over the past few months. You may only need to change your website or begin offering new goods and services depending on your customer demands. But before you actually make any changes I would suggest that you find out why your business has slowed and what your customers are looking to expect from you.
One first good step is to send out a survey to your existing customers and ask them what they think about your products and services you are providing them. This will give you an idea of what your customers think of what you are offering them and what you may want to do to improve the products or services you offer. You may find that the changes you have to make may not be what you expected.

After sending out a survey, you should visit your website to see if there are any noticeable changes to can make. Be sure that your website is easy to read and can be navigated easily. Make sure all your links within the page are working and that all your pages are labeled correctly. You can always make a few changes within your website that are scuttle but affective such as changing the colors, images or content of your website. People will be more excited to return to your website if they know you always have something new each month. This will keep them coming back to see what you have to offer that month that they may want or need. This is very inexpensive but very affective.

In order to be successful, you should target two or three specific groups so you have a better chance of reaching potential customers. Unless you sell a niche product that only appeals to a certain group, attracting the attention of a few groups is best. You may want to develop new marketing techniques or target some new groups of people online to help keep a constant growth of your business. If you are going to target a specific group of people you will want to find out which sites they are visiting and which products they are in need of and then you can place them on your website for them to purchase. This will give you a broader clientel.

Once you have reviewed your marketing strategy, introduced new products on your site, and given your site a new look, you should send out a broadcast to everyone on your email list so they can visit your new and improved website. This will increase your sales. You will always need to maintain a certain level of exposure online to have a successful online business.
Overhauling your business many need to be done every few years in order to attract new groups of customers. Remember to always be patient and except changes as they come. Make sure you are always utilizing all the marketing tools you can in order to build your business so it can remain successful.

Promote Your Business In Style! by Jade Masako
Product branding is everywhere, and we've all seen it at work: the famous brown and gold LV pattern of the Louis Vuitton purses, the curvy bottle of Aunt Jemima syrup, and even the logos on the shopping bags that we carry out of the supermarket. It's all a matter of making that brand familiar to the audience so that they will think of that particular brand first when deciding on what purse or syrup to buy, or which grocery store to go to. This can work for your company too, with promotional products such as pens, bags, calendars, magnets, T-shirts, and dozens of other options that can be printed with your company's name and logo, so that the next time someone thinks of needing anything that your business may supply, they'll think of you!

Small gifts, such as pens and notepads are an excellent way to promote a business that needs high quantities of promotional materials. Because these items will end up on potential clients' desks, they will inevitably be used on an everyday basis, allowing your company and logo to come to the forefront of their minds whenever the need arises! On your daily commute, have you noticed people drinking out of shiny silver mugs and big plastic water bottles in their cars or on the subway? Since these items can be pricey in the stores, offering them for free to clients with your logo emblazoned on them will give them a chance to drink in style for free - and the best thing of all is that, with prices starting at $1.50 on websites like Art Promos, you'll be making a great impression at a low cost!

Lots of people are "going green" these days, and one way that they're doing so is by using re-usable bags at grocery stores and on their daily errands. Instead of buying tote bags from the supermarket, why don't you give your clients the option of carrying a bag with your company's logo on it? That way, each time a client goes to the grocery store, he or she will not only be advertising for you, but they will also be showing off the fact that your company is socially conscious! This is wonderful for your image and a great marketing tactic
.
Besides the computer, the clock is the most looked at item in anyone's office. Why not provide clients with a clock or watch with your business in mind? I recommend: Have you ever been sitting in a meeting, only to find yourself glancing at your watch or the clock every thirty seconds or so? By giving clocks and watches as gifts to clients, you'll ensure that they're thinking of you each instance that they look at the time! The key is to give out promotional materials that clients will use and look at over and over again.

By giving clients items that line up with actions in their daily lives, you will become a part of their routine, just by becoming a presence in their homes or offices. The way that the most successful companies have become household names has been by becoming familiar with the audience they are trying to reach. If your company's name is the first thing that pops up in your client's mind when they think of the need that your business fills, simply as a result of the fact that she uses your mug each morning for her coffee, you will gain business and customer loyalty!

The perfect marketing pamphlet for your Business.

Creating the Perfect Marketing Pamphlet for your Business by TL Kleban
Every business needs a marketing program to succeed in the business world today. Unfortunately, all too many small businesses are going about it the wrong way by focusing in on just one area. It isn't about using one way of doing things but instead it is about getting and keeping customers. One of the best tools for doing this is creating your own business brochure.
Think about all the benefits a great marketing brochure can hold for your business. It delivers a clear, focused message in a visually persuasive way. Finding that focus requires consideration about who will read the brochure.

It's up to you to convince them that you are a unique benefit to them. It gives your business credibility in the eyes of customers. A well-written and well-designed brochure guarantees more sales.

Here is how you can get started creating a brochure for your business today.
Decide upon a reason why you need and want a brochure in the first place. Then determine what you plan on the subject matter for brochure to be. Be careful with how much information you plan on placing in the brochure. It will come off as unorganized, unprofessional and cluttered if there is too much information in it. The idea is to have a reader quickly glance it over or skim through it. From that quick interaction with it, they should get an idea of the message you are to trying to get across.

Figure out who your demographic audience is and come up with a plan on how to teach that target audience. Trying to do too much will only result in not enough as in no one will want to read. Create content that talks directly to your target audience.

The idea is to say a lot about your business without appearing to say too much. Target specific ideas and talking points about your business which makes it different that everyone else. Explain these aspects without taking up or wasting too much of the reader's time.

Again following the theme of less is more you used with your content, do the same with any and all graphic images you are using in the brochure. If you use too many graphics, you risk the chance of drawing attention away from the original message and purpose of the brochure.
Pick out the colors you are going to use in your brochure. Color in it will raise the cost of it since colored ink costs more. There is nothing wrong with just a plain yet simple black and white brochure to get your message across.

When it comes to the content of your brochure, make sure the message comes across as clearly as it can so anyone that reads it can quickly understand it. Talk up your business and its potential benefits for the reader instead of just rambling off what services you offer, about benefits rather than just listing off what you offer.

Now that you are finished putting it together, it is finally time to get it all printed up. You can do this by contacting a local printer or ordering it online from graphic design companies who offer this service.
